His work includes dissolution of marriage (divorce), child custody, prenuptial agreements, and other related matters throughout the Tampa Bay area. He is a settlement-minded attorney who is also a skilled advocate in the courtroom, handling everything from pre-suit negotiations to complex, multi-day trials, and appeals. Sterling represents a wide range of clients—from doctors, lawyers, and professional athletes to military members, construction workers, homemakers, and other hardworking individuals. While based in Tampa and primarily focused on Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, and Manatee counties, he also accepts select cases throughout the State of Florida.

Before becoming an attorney, Sterling was a scholarship student-athlete at Florida State University, where he was a member of the 2013 BCS National Championship football team. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from FSU and later his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. Upon graduation in 2017, he received the prestigious Victor O. Wehle Award, given to the top trial advocates in each class. Since graduating, Sterling has practiced exclusively in marital and family law. Outside the office, Sterling is a proud husband and father of two adopted children, an avid sports enthusiast, and an active member of his church community.

Kayla is a proud graduate of the University of Tampa, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice, graduating Cum Laude. During her time at UT, she demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence and leadership. She is a founding sister of Delta Phi Epsilon sorority and a distinguished member of multiple honor societies, including Alpha Phi Sigma, Alpha Kappa Delta, and Success Scholars, a program for first-generation college students.
With over two years of hands-on experience in family law, Kayla brings a versatile skill set to the firm. She has worked as a receptionist, legal assistant, and paralegal, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the legal process and the importance of compassionate client support. Whether she’s managing case files, drafting documents, or assisting in client communications, Kayla is known for her reliability, attention to detail, and ability to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. When she’s not in the office, Kayla enjoys soaking up the Florida sun and living life to the fullest in the Sunshine State.
