He is a settlement-minded attorney who is also a skilled advocate in the courtroom, handling everything from pre-suit negotiations to complex, multi-day trials, and appeals. Sterling represents a wide range of clients—from doctors, lawyers, and professional athletes to military members, construction workers, homemakers, and other hardworking individuals. While based in Tampa and primarily focused on Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, and Manatee counties, he also accepts select cases throughout the State of Florida.

Before becoming an attorney, Sterling was a scholarship student-athlete at Florida State University, where he was a member of the 2013 BCS National Championship football team. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from FSU and later his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. Upon graduation in 2017, he received the prestigious Victor O. Wehle Award, given to the top trial advocates in each class. Since graduating, Sterling has practiced exclusively in marital and family law. Outside the office, Sterling is a proud husband and father of two adopted children, an avid sports enthusiast, and an active member of his church community.
